Client Experience Manager

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident, highly motivated and preferably has some experience within the travel industry.

The role will involve assisting with all aspects of sales and marketing including regular and direct dialogue with our passengers. You will require to be able to :

• Follow up sales leads by telephone and email - determining genuine enquirers and discussing their requirements.
•  Monitoring online enquiries and responding when necessary
• Answering the telephone and taking enquiries and general requests for information making and recording bookings. 
• General administration and organisation - database creation and management for suppliers, payments, client details, booking information etc 
• Support the Operations Manager by assisting to develop and distribute trip documents including quotes, invoices and final documents with full itineraries 
• Writing up new trip information for use on the website 
• Assisting the updating and management of the website through our content management system - editing pictures and text. 
• You will be responsible for the development the companies Social Networking presence using sites such as Facebook and Twitter. 
• Assist with marketing the companies products and keeping to the marketing plan

The list above is by no means exhaustive and the role has a huge potential for growth. We are a young company with massive potential.You will be office based in our offices in Cambridgeshire but will also be required to assist at Travel Trade Shows and Open Evenings.

Most essential is an exceptional level of organisation, very confident telephone manner, good literary ability and highly computer literate.

Hours will be 09.15 - 17.45 Monday to Friday

Salary will be commensurate with the industry for a role of this type.

You will need to have a good level of Overland/Tour leading experience and to be generally well travelled, the sort of person who can handle difficult situations, get on with everyone as well as ensuring customers have the best possible time on their epic adventures.

The tour leader is responsible for the smooth running of the tour and for ensuring that travellers have the best possible time on their trip. You will be primarily concerned with our clients' health and safety and their enjoyment of the trip.
